The Story
On another rare morning where the region was covered with a thick blanket of fog, I spotted this tree sitting peacefully on a hill while hunting for compositions with my infrared camera. What captured my attention in this scene was the beautiful contrast between the ethereal white fog and the skeleton-like appearance of the tree's branches silhouetted against it as it sat on its hill. Bringing this image into black and white further distilled this relationship of luminosity, refining the scene and composition. It's moments like these that remind me why I love photography, and why exploring new techniques and perspectives can lead to unexpected and striking images

Each print is produced with a 15mm border to allow for a signature if you would like a print without the border and signature on the printed surface please contact me after placing your order.
