The Story
Some images can take time to reveal their true magic and this photo is a perfect example. It was taken during my first long hike through Lamington National Park when I had my camera out, reacting to whatever caught my eye. I don't remember the exact moment I captured this image, but it sat untouched in my catalogue for a year. Looking back, I was struck by the beauty of the moment captured in the photo. The image depicts a lone performer standing in a cold, dark space, bathed in the icy spotlight of the sun. It's a hauntingly beautiful scene that speaks to the resilience and perseverance of the human spirit.
